What Simmerset Does

How a Week Works

  1. Answer a few questions

Say who eats, what must never be on the plate, what you'd rather skip and how long a weeknight may take. You see dinners before you create an account.

  2. Shape the week

Keep what you like, swap the rest, lock a favorite or change the servings. The list follows every change.

  3. Shop from one list

Take it to any store. Lines are grouped by aisle, and everyone in the household shops from the same list.

  4. Cook one step at a time

The cooking view shows each step with the ingredients it needs, plus a timer when the step has one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Simmerset free?

Yes, on Free, which has no time limit and holds one open week at a time. Plus keeps every week, shares the household with up to six adults and adds vitamins, minerals and goals per dinner. It costs USD 4.99 a month or USD 39.99 a year with tax included; in the EU you pay EUR 4.99 or EUR 39.99.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. Answer a few questions and Simmerset suggests dinners for your week before you create an account. You sign up to keep them.

Is there an app for iPhone and Android?

Not yet. Simmerset runs in the browser on any phone or computer, and you can add it to your home screen from there. It is not in the App Store or on Google Play yet.

How does Simmerset handle allergies?

Allergies and diets are asked apart from dislikes. A recipe that breaks one is taken out of every plan, even when few recipes are left. A dislike only moves a dinner down the list.

Can I add my own recipes?

Yes. Import a recipe from a link, five a week on Free and thirty on Plus, or type one in by hand. Your recipes join the week like any other dinner.

Which languages does Simmerset come in?

The app and this site come in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. The recipes are in English for now.
